October 31- PRE Novemberween!!

HAPPY END OF OCTOBER!

This weekend was so great... friends, dancing, laughing- October has been a fun filled month!

I love Fall, something about it just screams cozy! The crisp air the the crunch of leaves on the ground even the smell.... everything about it i love- i just want to go run through some leaves right now just talking about it!

So last night was a fun filled night at the Pre-Novemberween party. We all got ready at my friend Charis's house...

So as you can see they were a lil scary looking...

Well maybe a lot!

i on the other hand was a innocent lil owl :)

There was a really cool photo booth set up at the party-which was so much fun!

Yay! for photo boothes.... such a great add to any party. There was also a DJ and a lot of dance moves!

I hope everyone had a Great october!! and here's to a fun November, so much to look forward to...

Fancy Hair.

Hello yall!

 So lately i have been really into fun lil hair pieces. I feel like if you have the most drab and boring outfit on, if your hair looks hot so do you! I love playing around with my hair and sometimes a cute head band is all you need! 

  This is actually 2 different pieces that i just combined to make one. The flower and feathers came from Anthro...but i added more feathers to it myself, because i simply adore feathers! the braided head band came from urban, it was on sale to i just bought it, normally i would just make something like that myself...but for $2 you can go wrong!

Love a 3/4in curling iron...LOVE! helps me get that big hair look, that is super fantastic!

I have started quite a collection... sometimes i don't even where them in my hair sometimes i will where them on necklaces and on my shirts as pins....

Where do you find your accessories? you may ask.... Well i usually look at places like j.crew, urban, and anthro.... Because i am always able to find something and i love immediate gratification. But also if your ok with waiting or digging or making .... Hobby Lobby, Etsy, and thrift stores are great!

Singing Melodies.

So i love music. Who doesn't?! It seems i am always humming to a melody or tapping my foot to a song. I love listening to a song that when it gets in you it becomes like air your breathing. 

These are just a few of my favorite bands at the present moment... there timeless and beautiful and i love them.

This is Paper Rout ... they have a pretty intricate sound with a great vibe.

I really love this album cause of all the fairy tale like sounds in it. When i listen to this music it takes me to a open green field with a large oak tree  and a cool breeze. She is also a pretty fantastic performer.

 So this is really nothing new... I just thought i would go ahead and post some pics of my homestead her in the Queen City... I love playing house! Its work, but its fun!

I feel like when it comes to decorating, you really just need to pick out things you love. My motto is anything goes... old, new, made, modern, vintage.... all of it. I like a lil bit of everything. The eclectic look seems to be my favorite just a little bit more organized :)

I love buying stuff for my  home, i think i will never get tired of little bobbles and nick knacks. One of my all time favorite places to by kitchen stuff is Anthropologie. Some times when i really feel like digging i go to the Sleepy Poet or Marshall's.
