I'm just having fun!

This is me informing you... I am not a good speller. 

I never have been and may never will be....

I am also terrible with grammar and using camas and periods and run on sentences....

But to be completely honest i guess i really don't care...

I do try somewhat to make sense but jacob isn't always here to proof read.

So im sorry for that :)

Im just having fun! 

and usually when i right my blog it's like a burst of energy running through my brain and my fingers are trying to keep up typing while i try to save every lil thought i have ....

I just wanted to let you know :)

My blog is just a random array of whatever i think up or whatever i'm up to.

I'm not trying to make sense all the time I'm just trying to have FUN! :)

Date Nights!

 Oh the work week... Me and jacob always try to find time for date nights and a lil fun during the middle of a busy and draining work week!

It's the lil things that become the most important....

Tonight we went to the Flying Biscuit for some yummy breakfast! and a bigger than life latte :)

And the other night we ventured out to downtown Mathews, to one of our favorite Atlanta restaurants, Pure Taqueria. It is so good!  

 Their margaritas are the best and  the taquitos are my fave! Jacob always gets the same thing, the 

carne a la parilla with jalapeno mac & cheese. Delicious!!

It is totally worth a date night! :)

Date nights with this guy are the best! I'm really so lucky to have him forever...

Oh and of course this lil guy, he is the best!

Now its time to cuddle up on the couch with The Office and a movie! YAY!

My trip to Atlanta

I'm Back from my visit to Atlanta it was short yet so sweet!
I got to spend some much needed time with my mom and dad... and see my soon to be sister in law! My brother Gabe got engaged last week and i couldn't be more excited for him!! i also got to see my sweet niece Ava Truth and my other sister in law Anisa!!

On Saturday when I arrived we hit the Antique mall of course first!

there were some really great find and prices! This place is by far one of my favorites...

I took pictures for inspiration.... i didn't buy it all but i have plans to recreate some of these ideas!

I absolutely love the little table to the right it would work perfectly as a kitchen island i have so desperately wanted :)

After spending hours in the antique mall we refueled at one of my favorite places to eat Sunflower, and then headed to the mall for some H & M time!

We then when to the book store and drank coffee and read magazines a Darnell family tradition :)

I took a picture of the cover of this one magazine to show the pretty nail color, i just got some like it for my birthday! YAY! 

That night i met up with Jacob at the Lift conference in mid town... It was a live recording of Matt Reedman's new record,  it was really fantastic and i cant wait to get the record when it comes out! 

These are some of the lil treasures i came back with!

I love the lil mirror Anisa got me, so pretty! and this scale is so great! 

My mom got me the mirror hanging on my wall and also the cute lil vintage clock...

This frame was also another gift from my mom along with the clock!

They really know my style! Im so blessed! 

On sunday we all hung out and ate lunch together! It was a pretty perfect trip! and i cant wait for my next one :) Love visiting my family, I am very lucky to have them!

The Diamond!

 (NOW OPEN)

 Me and my friend Alysa hung out the other night and went to the Diamond! 

it was so so good! and i look forward to many more future outings there and late night hang outs....

The Diamond has a special place in the heart of charlotte and is going to become "the" place. 

 We later hung out with this cute guy who just go his hair cut at the Dog Salon... isn't he so handsome!

he is the best lil buddy when jacob goes out of town :)

Atlanta bound!

So here i come Atlanta! tomorrow morning i will be waking up at the crack of dawn to head on my 4 hr journey to a little city i call home....

i am really excited to see my family and my lil niece Ava! this trip would have been even more fun if i had a buddy to go with me, but alas i do not :( .... still will be fun though! 

im packed and ready!

 I have been dying to use my yellow suitcase! and now i can :)

we are going to my favorite antique mall while i'm there, Lake Wood Antiques. It is such an inspiring place!

and maybe there will be some H&M time :) 

.... are you jealous yet?!?!

Happy Valentines Day!!

 Its the big day!! Every where you look is pink, red and LOVE! I hope you all have a fun monday! My valentines day will be spent running errands and cleaning my home!! YAY;) ......

Jacob (aka Mr. Valentine) is out of town, so tonight for dinner i will probably watch a movie and hold therman and drink a protein shake or have a bowl of cereal .... no fancy restaurants for me tonight! 

However i cant wait to go to atlanta this weekend, so excited!! i will get to see my family and go to my favorite antique store!! And boy do i love some atlanta home shopping!

And in other news, the weather here in the beautiful Queen City is sunny with clear skies at 70 degrees wonderful!!!
